Hello! My name is Shagun. I’m an undergraduate student in my final year, and I'm currently pursuing a BA Hons in English from SGT University. From orientation to graduation, every reunion brought back the experience of a journey through which we saw a significant transformation.

Being a student, campus life becomes one of the most memorable experiences of one’s life; compared to school life, it is completely different. We are exposed to new ideas and experiences that we are not familiar with. Being a student at SGT University, I’ve been through stumbles and successes.

Here’s my take on truly making the most of my experience at SGT University. First, I want you to know about my campus, SGT University, full name Shree Guru Gobind Tricentenary University in Gurugram, which is one of the best private universities. SGT University is a UGC-recognized university with broad goals to advance research, innovation, and multidisciplinary education, founded in 2013. SGT University received an NAAC A+ accreditation rating. Our spacious campus covers over 70 acres and is equipped with all the resources and infrastructure needed to support the best possible academic and research output

I enrolled at SGT University at my friend's recommendation. Afterward, my friend gave me the contact number of an admissions counselor, who assisted me in getting the answers to all of my questions about admission.

Then I made my first visit to the campus with my parents. I observed that SGT University's campus was very huge, with several buildings dispersed around a large region, complementing the size of the campus. The parking lot was also very vast.

The entire admissions procedure is conducted in D block, which we visited. The admissions consultant assists us with all of our queries and helps us progress through the admissions process.

After being admitted to SGT University, I was awarded a scholarship based on my board results, and after fulfilling all requirements associated with the admissions process, I became a member of the SGT family.

There was an initial kickstart to my journey. As we watched movies as children, we were all inspired by the lives of the characters. All of us believe that college life starts like the movies depict. But in actuality, the entire situation is altered.

During orientation, we explore the entire SGT campus, taking in the entire infrastructure as well as the departments and 18 faculties. These 18 faculties offered more than 180 courses, which gives students a huge diversity of platforms for pursuing their careers.

It also provide 6 libraries all over the campus, which includes more than 82500 books, which helps the students enhance their knowledge in various fields. It also helps the students with their research and publications. In libraries, the facility of printing or using systems is also available to enhance their knowledge. They also arranged various workshops every month in which various personalities all over shared knowledge among students.

A total of twenty individuals belong to my faculty, which consists of outstanding Ph.D. holders, associate professors, assistant professors, and professors. My entire faculty was encouraging and supportive, helping us through every stage that was needed. They not only provide us with knowledge but also help us become individuals who can lead their future. They also provided grooming sessions, which helped the students build their professional personalities.

I encounter a variety of students at SGT University who come from different backgrounds. I've made several genuine friends who have grown to be significant figures in my life. Together, we had an amazing time. Those lasting memories live on in our hearts forever. The campus featured a first-rate cafeteria that became a landmark that none of the Sgtians would ever forget, sharing wonderful movements in their lives.

The cultural festivals are the highlight for those who study at SGT University. Multiple events were organized by SGT University. However, SGT University's largest celebration is the Holi or Diwali celebration. The glances of festivities light up the entire campus. Numerous performances in diverse fields were present, showcasing our culture during the activities.

Every event held on campus has a special meaning and relevance. Every event that was planned on campus had a significant impact. Everyone is involved, including students and faculty members. To ensure that these events are a huge success, everyone donates their equal time and effort. It not only becomes enjoyable, but it also teaches us many skills that are necessary for both our professional and practical situations.

The university also arranges celebrity visits, which are among the highlights of any student's experience. During these visits, students have the opportunity to meet their favorite actors or actresses.

We had a great time at these kinds of activities. It also organizes concerts and various programs in the evening, which became a remarkable moment in their campus life. Various singers and bands were being called in order to provide entertainment. Students also took part in such events in order to show their passion for extracurricular activities.

The presence of a hospital on campus is the major or significant feature that, from a variety of angles, distinguishes this university. We can utilize the hospital's amenities. In addition to the care given, it also contributes to improving the prospects for student’s futures.

Apart from these, the placements offered by the university based on the capabilities of students help us succeed in our careers. Currently, I’m enrolled in an internship as a content writer in digital marketing at the university. It helps me to increase my interest in my course and open up better opportunities in order to get a job outside or within the university.

Being a part of SGT University helps us unlock numerous golden opportunities and become successful individuals in our careers. I suggest that if you want to succeed in your future dreams, it’s time to be a part of the SGT family.
