Dr. S. K. Sharma, Principal SGT College of pharmacy, SGT University Gurgaon, participated in the national seminar on Industry-Academia interaction “Perspectives in pharmaceutical industry: Response of Pharma Education” organized by Indian Pharmaceutical Association (Delhi Branch) and the IIHMR University, Jaipur on 24th April 2016 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
The main highlighting deliberations were on “Expected changes in Pharma Industry 2016-2020 and how educational institutions should gear up to meet the challenges” and “Collaborative links between Pharma Industry and Academia for fostering mutual growth and development”. A panel discussion was held on “Future of Pharmaceutical Industry Vis a Vis Pharmacy Education in India.
Dr G.N. Singh, Drugs Controller General of India was the chief guest; Mr Prafful D. Sheth, V.P.FIP; SEAR Pharm Forum and A.K.Nasa, President IPGA were Guests of Honour. Dr Vivek Padgaonkar, Director(Projects and Policy), OPPI, Mumbai; Dr Praveen Khullar, Sr. Director, Sanofi Synthelab, Goa, Mr. Bijender Vats, Director, HR,MSD India, Mumbai graced the occasion.
