Organization of various seminars, workshops etc .at SGT College of Pharmacy in future will aim at student learning and development, awareness and responsible living.
Conferences attended by Faculties and students
30th Annual Conference was organized by Indian Pharmacy Graduate Association (IPGA) on 31st October 2015 at Air Force Auditorium, New Delhi. The faculty members Dr. S. K. Sharma and Dr. Vandana Chaudhary along with students of B. Pharma 1st year were feeling graced by attending the conference. The conference was presided by Atul K. NASA (Sr. Drug Control Officer & President of IPGA, New Delhi). The scientific sessions were conducted by eminent speakers namely: Dr. G N Singh, Drugs Controller General (India)-Chief Guest, Dr. Mrinalini Darswal, IAS, Commissioner, Food Safety cum Drugs Controller, Delhi - Guest of Honour, Dr. B. Suresh, President, Pharmacy Council of India & Vice Chancellor, JSS university, Mysore. Students were actually introduced to pharmacy world where they are going to be merged in future.
Ms. Sonia Yadav and Mr. Manish Yadav attended 2nd Annual Conference of "Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India" Haryana State Branch on 24th & 25th October, 2015 at Tagore Auditorium Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, and Haryana.
National Pharmacy Week Celebration on 21st November 2015
SGT College of pharmacy organized 54th National Pharmacy Week 2015 on the Theme: “Responsible Use of Antibiotics Saves Lives” on 21st Nov. 2015 at SGT University Campus, Gurgaon at 10:30 A.M. onwards. An extension lecture was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Arunabha Ray, Head, Dept of Pharmacology, Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute, Faculty of Medicine, and University of Delhi on the Theme “Rational Use of Antibiotics”.
