Department of MLT and Biochemistry successfully organized an engaging Alumni Talk and Hands-on Demonstration on the critical topic of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR).
The event began with a warm welcome address by our respected Dean, Prof (Dr) Barkha Bhatnagar and by Dr. Nasim, HOD, Department of MLTB setting the tone for the session. This was followed by an insightful talk by our alumnus Ms. Ranjana Yadav, presently working as technical assistant in National Centre for Disease Control, Delhi has shared valuable insights into the growing threat of AMR and its implications for public health. The session was followed by a hands-on demonstration where students actively participated and gained practical exposure to methods used in detecting and studying antimicrobial resistance.
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Suchandra Gupta appreciating the efforts of everyone involved and encouraging continued learning and awareness.
