Community Visit to Daultabad Village

The Department of Medical Laboratory Technology and the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, School of Allied Health Sciences, in collaboration with the School of Nursing, organized a community visit to Dautabad village on 25th April 2025. Students of B.Sc, M.Sc MLT & M.Sc Nutrition and dietetics conducted an awareness drive on vector-borne diseases such as dengue, malaria, and chikungunya. Through interactive sessions, posters, and demonstrations, the students educated the local community on: Common vectors and how they spread diseases, Symptoms to watch out for, and Simple yet effective preventive measures like eliminating stagnant water, using mosquito nets, and maintaining hygiene

This initiative not only empowered the villagers with knowledge but also gave our students a valuable hands-on experience in public health and community service.
