SGT University’s Faculty of Allied Health Sciences successfully organised the National Summit on “Food Innovations & Technology: Bridging Present Challenges and Future Opportunities” on May 7, 2025. The summit featured thought-provoking panel discussions aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS), bringing together eminent experts from global organisations, including FSSAI, Codex Alimentarius, Amway, Yakult Danone, Global Organics, Fermentis Life Protein, FARE Labs, and the National Dope Testing Lab. Discussions revolved around global regulatory harmonisation, digital transformation in food safety, and the future of precision nutrition, showcasing innovations like blockchain, AI-driven testing, and advanced diagnostic tools for athlete-specific diets.
The event marked a significant step in building strategic frameworks for safe and effective food systems, integrating technology with regulatory science. Key takeaways included a collaborative roadmap for nutraceutical compliance, insights into innovative traceability platforms, and actionable public health and sports nutrition solutions.
