Dr. Raman Kumar, Assistant Professor of Medical Laboratory Technology and Biochemistry at Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, SGT University has total 2.5 years of experience in teaching and research. Dr. Raman Kumar holds master’s (Biochemistry) and doctorate degree (Biochemistry) from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. During his doctoral study he worked on metabolic profiling of Pediococcus acidilactici NCDC 252 to explore the beneficial effects of bacterial active components/metabolites and to establish this strain as a useful probiotic strain. He also published Genome Sequence of Pediococcus acidilactici NCDC 252 in National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), 2019. He has published 17 research papers in highly reputed international journals and 5 book chapters. With a strong academic background and a passion for teaching and research, Dr. Raman Kumar is dedicated to fostering a learner-centered environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and practical application of knowledge.
