Dr. Vibha Madan Jha is currently the Head of the Department of Paramedical Sciences, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences at SGT University, Gurugram. Dr. V M Jha obtained her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the School of Life Science, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. She did her postdoctoral work in Neuroscience at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA. She has more than 17 years of research experience and her expertise includes the study of the functions of sleep, molecular mechanism of memory consolidation. She has published many research papers and review articles in International and National journals. Dr. Jha is an editor of the book Sleep, Memory and Synaptic Plasticity published by Springer Nature, Singapore. She has also authored the book Sleep: Evolution and Functions published by Springer Nature, Singapore.

Dr. Jha is a recipient of several awards and gold medals during her academic pursuits. She has been bestowed with Dr. Ramji Narain Omvati Gold Medals (awarded by Panjab University, Chandigarh, India) and University Gold Medals (awarded by Panjab University, Chandigarh, India) for her academic excellence during her Graduation and Post-graduation in Biochemistry (Honors Degree).
