The Arts and Humanities are the wide-ranging disciplines of sciences that study the human experience, imagination, and cultural expression. These fields discuss allegories to humankind's performance, philosophy, history, languages, and visual or performing art. The study programs in Arts and Humanities provide a set of essential thinking, analytical skills and understanding of and appreciation of the depth and diversity of the human cultural and artistic spectrum. Through studying, one can find meaning in their daily lives as they see the world from different angles, become kinder individuals, express themselves more creatively, and build communication skills.
The Department of Arts and Humanities of SGT University, under the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences, prides itself on an inclusive and exciting learning experience. The curriculum is carefully organised to give students a good understanding of different disciplines: literature, history, philosophy, and culture.
