Orthodontics is that branch of dentistry that deals with correction of malaligned teeth and jaws. Orthodontics helps in esthetic correction of face through creation of beautiful smiles.
- Alteration in tooth position – Teeth are moved through the bone to ideal location by applying force through braces .

The University offers Master’s degree (MDS) as well as a PhD Program in the subject of Orthodontics.
Currently, the university is permitted to enroll six students per year under master’s program (MDS) in the subject.
The Entrance test for admission in MDS is generally held in the month of December-Jan of the year of admission; followed by interview and Counseling. However, the classes start in the month of July in the year of admission.
