Workshop on Stress Management

The Stress Management Workshop provided participants with a thorough understanding of stress, its origins, and its effects on individuals. Through engaging discussions and hands-on activities, attendees explored various stressors present in their lives, including academic pressures and personal challenges, gaining valuable insights into their own stress triggers. Students from the Faculty of Education participated in this workshop. The workshop session was conducted by Dr. Farhat Jahan, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Behavioural Science and Social Sciences, on the 3rd floor, E Block, SGT University. The students actively participated in the interactive session of the workshop; they practiced the relaxation sessions and exercises. They enjoyed the session proactively and wholeheartedly accepted the theme of the workshop, expressing a deepened urge for a similar kind of workshop in the future. They commented that this type of workshop is very useful for all of us in our daily lives and enjoyed the engaging discussions.

By exploring the various factors contributing to stress, ranging from work pressures to personal challenges, attendees gained insight into their own stress triggers. This report delves into the intricate realm of stress management, encompassing an in-depth analysis of its myriad sources, profound effects, effective measures, coping strategies, and techniques. The workshop event took place on Tuesday and gave exposure to 61 students from different faculties.
