The 1st SGTU International Moot Court Competition, 2024 organized by the Moot Court Society at Faculty of Law, SGT University on the theme of International Environment Law scheduled on 30th and 31st August, 2024 (virtual mode) and 14th September, 2024 (offline mode) provided a platform to the law students to learn the Court craft by observation and have the Courtroom experience, from any and every corner of the world. The competition featured 56 teams from renowned law schools and institutions, both nationally and internationally.

The competition instilled the confidence in the students and motivated them to capture this unique opportunity to understand the conduct, various procedures and application of the International Laws, Treaties and Conventions along with the opportunity to hone Courtroom manners and etiquettes. Not only this but also help law students to explore different dimensions in the legal world.

The 1st SGTU International Moot Court Competition, 2024 was honored with the gracious presence of renowned legal personalities from Judiciary and Academic backgrounds during the Final Round and the Valedictory Ceremony:
