Dr. Rakesh Kumari Malik is working as an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Law, SGT University, Gurugram. With over two decades of experience in the field of law, she has her specialisation in Criminal Law, Family Law, Constitutional Law and International Law. She has represented clients at the Supreme Court of India, the High Court and the District Courts in Delhi NCR. Her passion for justice, particularly in the realm of women’s rights, has been the driving force of her career. Committed to empowering women through legal education and advocacy, Dr. Malik transitioned to academia to shape the next generation of legal professionals. She holds a Ph.D. in Women’s Rights to Property under Hindu Law, an LLM, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Labour Law, Labour Welfare & Personnel Management, along with a BA.LLB from Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, Haryana. An active participant in national and international legal discussions, she has contributed extensively through research papers, articles in Scopus, UGC Care, peer reviewed journals and participated in various seminars, conferences, symposiums and workshops. She has guided more than 40 Scholars in LLM and PhD. She is an Editorial Board Member in Indian Journal of Law.
