CME : Recent Advances in Laboratory Diagnosis of Sepsis
This CME aimed to create awareness about the importance of early diagnosis of sepsis among the faculty members and young budding doctors. Renowned speaker delivered the lecture on various subtopics related to “Sepsis”: its magnitude of problem, need for early diagnosis, epidemiology and various diagnostic options available for its diagnosis. All young & dynamic doctors were encouraged to attend the same and enlighten their knowledge.
Dr. Ashok Rattan, Chairman, Medical Committee and Quality of Redcliffe Laboratories was the guest speaker. The speaker explained about the SEPSIS- a condition of life-threatening organ dysfunction, its global burden and recent diagnostic methods including research data. The topic garnered significant attention and lively interactions with the participants.
Nearly 200 participants including faculty members, postgraduate and undergraduate students from all the departments attended the session. Interactive session was also kept so that the audience could get their doubts clear from the experts. All the aspects of the Program were covered ardently & enthusiastically. The CME was a successful event with maximum participation from the faculty members and medical undergraduate and postgraduate students.
