Dr. Pradeep Malik
Associate Professor & Head
Dr. Pradeep Malik, Head, Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, possess an extensive experience in research and academics. He holds a Bachelors’ and Master’s degree in Mathematics from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut and Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. He had qualified National Eligibility Test (NET)- Mathematical Science in 2007 and availed CSIR fellowship as Junior Senior Research Fellow from 2008 to 2012. At present, Dr. Malik is the General Associate Member of Society: The Mathematics Consortium, India. With an extensive teaching experience of 11+ years his research interest areas include Special Functions and Orthogonal Polynomials, Operator Theory, Fractional Calculus and Mathematical Modelling & Simulation etc. He has keen interest in teaching Applied Mathematics courses to undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. students. Apart from teaching he holds several academic and administrative position during his academic profession. Dr. Malik has published and presented various research articles in peer reviewed Journals and International Conferences at National and International level and holds Patents in his significant career. He is currently supervising and guiding various students at Graduate, Postgraduate and at Ph.D. level. Dr. Malik has organized and conducted various workshops on Research Methodology & Mathematical Tools in Research for which he got appreciation certificate from Elsevier for successfully conducing the workshop.
