Dr. Simranjeet Singh
Assistant Professor
Dr. Simranjeet Singh is working as an Assistant Professor of Environmental Science at Department of environmental Science, Faculty of Applied and Basic Sciences. Dr Singh has more than eight years of teaching and research experience. After completing his M.Sc. in Environmental Science, he has earned his Ph.D. in Environmental Science from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar (Haryana) in the year 2017. He has been awarded scholarship under Maulana Azad Fellowship scheme of UGC during his Ph.D. He has also qualified UGC and ASRB national eligibility test (NET) for lectureship. Besides teaching, Dr. Singh also holds some academic and administrative responsibilities and duties. His research interests include: Constructed Wetlands for waste water treatment; Air, Water, Soil and Noise Monitoring etc. His teaching interest is Water chemistry, Atmospheric Chemistry and pollution, Soil Chemistry and Solid waste management, Research Methodology and Statistics and Environmental Studies for undergraduate and postgraduate students. Dr. Singh has participated in several national and international seminars, conferences, and workshops. He has published and presented more than 10 research article in peer-reviewed Journals and International Conferences and holds 02 Patents in his respective field. He is currently supervising and guiding students at the Postgraduate and Ph.D. level. Dr. Singh has also organized and Co-ordinated many academic events such as conferences, workshops, seminars etc.
