Basant Utsav 2023

Spring is a lovely reminder of how beautiful change can truly be……Keeping this in spirit SGT University’s 5 th flower show Basant Utsav-2023 was organised by Faculty of Agricultural Sciences. The one-day (20 th February, 2023) event was organised in the lush green University Garden. The perfect weather, slow breeze and splashing green grass were all the ingredients for a perfect flower show to begin.

The chief guests of the event, Mr. R.S. Yadav (MD), Vardan, Envirolab and Vardan Environet and Dr. OPS Khola, Director, IISWC, Chandigarh. The beauty and fragrance of different cut and loose flowers, the eye-catching arrangement of various flower groups were just perfect for everyone to see what nature holds for us. All the stall holders were in full zeal to show their products. All the participants had arranged their entries and shared their knowledge and experience with others. So, the flower show gave an opportunity to people to know the wide range of plants that can be grown in the locality.
