About Behavioural and Social Sciences
The Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences (FBSS), which offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs in clinical psychology, was formally established as a separate entity in 2014. An M.Phil. in clinical psychology with a two-year duration and a professional diploma in clinical psychology with a one-year duration were introduced by the faculty in 2017 and 2019, respectively.
The faculty offers UG, PG, and Ph.D. students specializations in forensic, cognitive, and counseling in addition to clinical psychology. The faculty aims to meet the demand for clinical psychologists and counselors with professional training in order to address the growing need for addressing the mental health issues of the community, society, and nation.
