The Corporate Connect Centre, Faculty of Commerce and Management, SGT University, organized an engaging session on “Basics of Investing and Riding the Market Rollercoaster” on September 9, 2025, aimed at enhancing financial literacy and deepening students’ understanding of capital markets and investments. The session was led by Mr. Jay Mehta, CFA (Senior Manager – Research, Upstox), who simplified complex investment concepts and guided students on how to begin their investment journey with confidence and discipline. Participants gained insights into the fundamentals of investing, wealth creation strategies, and techniques to navigate market fluctuations wisely, along with practical exposure to real-world financial practices.
