The Faculty of Design at SGT University is proud to celebrate a remarkable achievement by our B.Design (Final Year) students – Harshita, Himanshu, Neha, Rishika, and Khushyant – who showcased their Design collection of garments at the prestigious India International Designer Week (IIDW) 2025, held on 24th August at Radiance Motel, Chattarpur, New Delhi.

The students’ showcase stood out for its innovation, craftsmanship, and contemporary appeal, earning immense appreciation from industry experts, fashion critics, and audiences alike. Their creative expressions not only captivated the runway but also brought national recognition to SGT University’s Faculty of Design.

The students presented a diverse and thought-provoking fashion showcase with four powerful themes:

• Ethnic Wear – Celebrating India’s rich cultural heritage with intricate craftsmanship and traditional silhouettes.
• Corporate Chic (Detachable & Attachable Garments) – Innovative office wear designed for functionality and versatility, redefining professional fashion.
• Red Collection for LGBT Students – A bold, inclusive statement embracing diversity, pride, and self-expression through striking red ensembles.
• Sustainable Fashion with Block Printing – Eco-conscious designs that combine heritage textile art with modern aesthetics.
