Dr. (Prof.) Anil Sharma is working as Dean, FIMS, SGT University. He has successful administrative experience of approx. 20 years in various capacities as Head of depts., Deputy. Medical Supdt., Medical Supdt., Principal, Registrar, Director, Dean, Bursar (Accounts Head) etc of several institutions/universities.
Associated with academics since October 1991 as Asst. Professor, Associate Prof./Head, Professor/Head and Coordinator, PPVC, Govt. of India with the key assignment of Quality Enhancement in Education, particularly in the Dravyaguna (Herbal Medicines) and Ras shastra (Mineral Medicines) i.e., Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology pharmacy and Pharmacovigilance.
Associated with clinics since 1988 as Junior Physician, Consultant Ayurvedic Physician, Deputy Medical Supdt., Medical Supdt. for the treatment of patients with pure ayurvedic medicines and to establish faith in people towards the Ayurvedic system of medicine.
A Gold Medalist graduate with post-graduate (M.D.) and Ph.D. in Dravyaguna (Herbal Medicines), and an industrial experience, from formulations to manufacturing of different ayurvedic drugs (Metallic as well as herbals), of about 20 years.
He has contributed in Shri Krishna Govt. Ayurvedic College, Kurukshetra as Professor/Head and involved in expanding the dept. of Dravyaguna for the students of postgraduate and PhD level. An approved guide for the students of M.D and Ph.D. of Shri Krishna AYUSH University, Kurukshetra Dutta Meghe Institute of Medical sciences, Wardha, Desh Bhagat Ayurvedic College, Gobindgarh etc • Additionally, working as Director Research and Innovation, SKAU, for establishing a research laboratory of International repute. Held Responsibility for rules & norms implementation of Drug & Cosmetics Act, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Quality Management System (ISO) for the ayurvedic manufacturing industries in Haryana as a member technical committee of the State Govt. of Haryana
As a Medical Supdt. at Gaur Brahmin Ayurvedic college & hospital, Brahmanwas, coordinated with CMO Rohtak, Director PGIMS and DBCS Rohtak for the promotion of National Health programs and established a Family Planning unit and Immunization Center in the Hospital campus and organized two major eye camps for cataract patients.
